Phone Calls

Sue Center can initiate phone calls for you via Skype.

See the Sue Center web site for details on how to install and configure Skype.

Before making a call you must add the person's name and phone number to your Contact List.

Calls are initiated by choosing Cmd > Call. You are asked

Call whom?

and the word list will fill with entries from your contact list. If the list is long you can scroll and narrow it just like the list of contacts with email addresses. Choose a name from the list and Skype will be invoked with that number. When the call is finished you hang up by choosing End Call at the bottom.

If music is playing as you start the call it will be paused. When the call is finished the music will resume.
